ANDREW KENNEDY
Hispanic Comedian
Andrew Kennedy will be starring in a pilot for CBS this spring based on his comedy. CBS first became interested in Andrew Kennedy after seeing him perform at the Montreal Comedy Festival. After a few trips to Los Angeles and many, many meetings with writers, Andrew Kennedy teamed up together with Andy Gordon and Eileen Conn to write the pilot.
Andrew Kennedy was born in Bogota, Colombia. His mother is Colombian and father English. He spent most of his childhood traveling the world and by the time he was thirteen he had lived in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Hong Kong and finally settled in Connecticut. Growing up around the world has given him insight into people and culture which he uses to center his comedy on, and which is mostly based on his bi-cultural upbringing, marriage and fatherhood.
Andrew Kennedy is the middle of three boys. He lives with his wife and two young sons in their Connecticut home. The house is about an hour from New York City where he currently performs weekly as a headliner at all the major clubs.
Until CBS decides whether or not to go to series with Andrew's pilot he can be seen on; "The World Stands Up" (Comedy Central), "Premium Blend" (Comedy Central), "Comic View Best of" (BET) and an assortment of independent films.
