CHRIS LINN
He's less creepy than David Blaine… much better looking than the Masked Magician… and a whole lot more alive than Harry Houdini. Magical comedian Chris Linn is an animated and playful performer who can captivate an audience with his personality alone. By taking this flair for showmanship and blending it with creative magic effects and high energy comedy, Chris creates one of the most unique and freshly entertaining performances around.
Chris quickly developed a knack for the impossible and a passion for making people laugh at a young age. At age 13, he performed his first paid show and then it was not long before this charismatic young man's talents began to draw national acclaim. Tannen's Magic Academy in New York awarded Chris the top honors for stage magic while he was still in high school. Later that year, he was one of only ten teenage performers from around the world selected to perform as part of a gala show for the World Magic Summit held in Las Vegas.
Today, Chris is quickly becoming a familiar face in entertainment. He logs an impressive 300+ live performances a year, gaining fans from ages 8 to 88. He has appeared in over 13 different countries and on dozens of television programs, including FOX's Vicki Lawrence Show and the two-part PBS documentary Share the Magic. Chris' universal appeal has lead to his appearances in several theatrical tours and productions, including Vegas Jubilee, Las Vegas Live, and Comic Relief- Detroit. He also wrote and starred in his own theatrical productions for Chevrolet's national auto show tour as well as Cedar Point - the world's top rated amusement park.
His ability to keep an audience laughing with a diverse repertoire of clean comedy has made Chris a favorite of corporate clients such as Ford Motor Company, DuPont, Paramount Pictures, and Honeywell. It has also earned him the distinct honor of being the only comedy entertainer to receive the national Guiding Light Award for being a positive role model for America's youth - not one, but two years in a row.
Off the stage, Chris keeps his creativity flowing with a variety of projects. He has written and produced several comedy shorts, including the parody commercial When Balloon Animals Attack, which instantly became a cult classic among the entertainment world.
With his busy performing schedule, television appearances, and international accolades, what does Chris look back to as his most exciting moment as a performer so far? According to him, it would have to be working with dozens of beautiful Polynesian dancers as part of his performances on the South Pacific island of Bora Bora. "That was a fun show," he recalls while flashing his trademark boyish grin.
