Chris Rock was the voice of "Little Penny". Chris Roco was the host of the 1997' MTV Video Music Awards. Chris Rock was host of the Chris Rock Show. Chris Rock is a stand-up comedian who first rose to national stardom when he appeared on Saturday Night Live in the late '80s and early '90s.
Chris Rock started to blow up the the ‘90s,, frequently appearing in films and releasing his first comedy record, Born Suspect, in 1991. When he left SNL, his popularity dipped, and for much of the mid-'90s, he had difficulty landing movie roles.
Chris Rock refocused on his stand-up routine again. Chris Rock became a megastar comedian with the release of his second album, Roll With the New, in 1997. Chris rock was now one of the most popular and best-reviewed comedians in America.
Chris Rock was born and raised on the mean streets of Bed-Stuy, in Brooklyn, New York. Chris Rock has been in stand-up comedy for over twelve years. Chris Rock made his big screen debut in Beverly Hills Cop II and spent three years on the cast of "Saturday Night Live".

Chris Rock served as the sole presidential campaign correspondent for Comedy Central's acclaimed Politically Incorrect, logging humorous and sometimes sardonic reports from the primary campaign trail to both the Democratic and Republican Conventions and election night. Another of Rock's dreams came true when he was made a cast member of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE in 1989. During his three-year tenure, Chris Rock created several memorable characters, such as Nat X of "The Nat X Show" and Onski from "I'm Chillin'." During the 1993-94 season, Rock made several guest appearances on Fox's IN LIVING COLOR.
Proving the adage that "you can't go home again" false, Chris hosted SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE last November and scorched the audience with a riveting opening monologue, setting the tone for one of the show's most memorable episodes ever.
