Dale Irvin: Presenting The Healing Power of Comedy

DALE IRVIN
Presenting The Healing Power of Comedy

Dale Irvin is a comedian. He is also a writer, actor and an internationally acclaimed speaker. But comedy is what Dale Irvin does first, foremost and incredibly well.

Dale Irvin got his start by studying at Chicago's Second City Players Workshop and the Forum Theater school. From there, he formed a five person improvisational comedy team which in turn, launched him to the stage as a stand up. On April 7,1983, he was fired from his career in advertising and became a full time comedian.

Since then, Irvin has shared the stage with such superstars as Jay Leno, Paul Anaka, Dionne Warwick, The Four Tops and The Temptations, and has been seen on over 100 television shows including MTV, Showtime, A&E, Oprah Winfrey and "America's Funniest People."

But stand-up is just one of Dale Irvin's comedy outlets. He is also widely recognized as one of the top professional speakers in the country. Irvin has been designated a Certified Speaking Professional by the National Speakers Association, one of only 190 speakers in the world to hold the honor. His success on the corporate circuit is legend among speakers bureaus coast to coast.

Dale Irvin's programs include "Laugher Doesn't Hurt," a one-man show in which he presents the healing power of comedy in such a hilarious way that the audience should be illness-free forever. His "Five Minute Funnies" introduces Irvin to meetings, conventions and seminars to wrap things up with a monologue that has been created based upon WHAT JUST HAPPENED. A classic! There is also his "Custom Put-On", where Irvin is presented as a bogus expert on whatever subject the corporation chooses. The audience is baffled, confused and in hysterics.

In addition, Dale Irvin's "Corporate Challenge" game show and "Power Thinking" seminars are highly requested and recommended to companies that need to show employees how to use laughter as a tool to reduce stress, solve problems and increase profits.
