DANNY STORTS
Geniality and a skewed view of reality are the hallmarks of Danny Stort’s clean humor. Along with observations on daily life, are side trips into the absurd and fantastic.
Danny Storts describes his comedy as “Gratuitous nonsense”...
“I did a benefit show where people were gambling play money. One guy lost $100,000.00, so he went out back and shot himself with a cap pistol...”
Danny Storts makes a point of being aware of the setting and the audience, and tailoring his performance appropriately. A native Chicagoan, Danny Storts is married to comedienne Sharon Sparks. The two of them often appear on the same show. They make their home outside of Nashville, Tennessee where Storts claims they live at the end of a runaway truck ramp.
From there he tours the US, Canada and the Caribbean, appearing on cruise ships, on television shows, at colleges and universities and on comedy club stages from “The Improv” in Los Angeles to “Catch a Rising Star” in New York.
