DONNA CHERRY
As an actor, comedic performer, and singer, the dynamic Donna Cherry continues to be recognized for her talents. Donna was ravely reviewed for her feature performance in the Barry Manilow International Showstopper Tour. The show was performed in such prestigious venues as Madison Square Garden's New Paramount Theater, the Universal Ampitheater in Los Angeles, and London's Wembley Arena. Donna also made appearances on The Tonight Show and The Arsenio Hall Show.

Donna Cherry co-starred in the Los Angeles production of Something Blue. She recently had Leading Roles in presentations of the plays, Funny Business at the Tiffany Theatre and in the black musical, Twist, produced by Landmark Entertainment (Jesus Christ Superstar) at the Hollywood Playhouse. For her portrayal of Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Cherry received the Los Angeles Dramalogue Critics Award for Best Actress. Other professional leading roles in theater performances include, My Fair Lady (Eliza) and Godspell (Joanne).

Cherry co-starred in the TV pilots, Deep Dish TV and Life Goes On, and at the Cannes Film Festival in It's Only Make Believe. She makes recurring live appearances on Late Night TV, in Atlantic City, Las Vegas and Tahoe and is regularly featured on the Main Stage of The Comedy Store (LA).
Donna Cherry's comedy performing and singing impressions helped her win the title of Miss California in the Miss America Pagent. As a result, she was given the opportunity' to perform internationally on USO tours and with Bob Hope. The pageant also led to her participation in festivities for both the Olympics and the Presidential Inauguration.
Donna Cherry studied at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and earned a Music and Theatre degree from Cal State. When in New York, she continues private study' at Julliard under the supervision of Denise Woods. With her extraordinary singing voice, Donna Cherry has performed in over a dozen operas and received the Metropolitan Opera Apprentice Award. Since her diversity and energy seem unending, you probably will be seeing a lot more of the talented Donna Cherry soon.
