DWIGHT WELLS
Dwight Wells has been performing stand-up comedy all over the Northeast, the South and California for over 5 years. In addition to performing at such nationally revered venues as Caroline's, PSNBC, and The Comic Strip, he is also an actor and a writer. Mixing original themes with internationally-recognizable observations, such as why Aaron Neville sounds like he's getting into a bathtub that is too hot when he sings, Dwight has gained wide popularity with club owners and bookers across the United States for giving a thoroughly clean, yet incomparably witty performance.
This North Carolina native prides himself on a thoroughly clean performance, and his relaxed, affable manner is sure to please any critic. He also prefers to keep crowd work to a minimum during his performances, as it is usually terminally unfunny, and prevents the audience from relaxing and enjoying the show.
