FRAN CAPO The World's Fastest Talking Woman
Dubbed "fast talker extraordinaire" by the Associated Press, comedienne Fran Capo doesn't mind if you call her "Super-Mouth." In fact, she's proud of it! Fran Capo is in The Guinness Book of World Records as the fastest talking female in the world - speaking at a rate of 603.32 words per minute.
"There are definite advantages to talking fast," says Fran Capo. "I save money on my phone bill, can order fast food in a snap, plus have talked my way out of more than one speeding ticket. Besides, growing up and living in New York, you have to talk fast!"
Fran Capo's fast talking, boundless energy, and unusual way of looking at life have earned her the distinct reputation as the funniest fast-talking New Yorker. Fran Capo has appeared worldwide on over 75 television shows worldwide including Good Morning America, Larry King Live, Geraldo, Rolanda, The Statler Brothers, and Entertainment Tonight. Capo also has been a featured guest on over 150 radio programs.
As a comedienne, Fran Capo has performed at major comedy clubs throughout the United States from Dangerfield's in New York to The Comedy Stop at The Trop in Las Vegas. Fran Capo also has appeared nationally on the college entertainment circuit, plus toured with rap artists The Fat Boys and LL CoolJ performing her original rap recording Rappin Mae.

Fran Capo's most recent project is Fran's Fast Fractured Fairy Tales, an audio collection of ten classics from The Three Little Pigs to Rumplestiltskin. Told intelligibly at the speed of sound, Fran Capo intertwines her character voices, fast talking, and comedic ability to give these memorable stories a clever and humorous twist.
