Helen Hong: Cute Little Asian Girl

HELEN HONG
Cute Little Asian Girl

Helen Hong’s “cute little Asian girl” demeanor leaves audiences totally unprepared for her naughty and irreverent material. From amorous trees to racist fashion labels to how she got her un-sexy first name, Helen’s mischievous point of view is always a crowd favorite. Her enthusiastic character impressions have landed her on E! Entertainment, TLC, ImaginAsian TV, and national commercials for Comcast and Xerox. A rising star in the NY comedy scene, Helen Hong was a semi-finalist in the 2008 and 2007 NY’s Funniest Stand-Up Competition and was featured in the NYC Underground Comedy Festival. She was also a semi-finalist in the 2006 California’s Funniest Female Contest. Before her career in comedy, Helen Hong was a successful TV director/producer, and was featured behind the scenes on TLC’s “What Not to Wear.” She loves karaoke, NPR, and over-eating.
