JOHNNY LAMPERT
Johnny Lampert is considered one of the premier comedians in the country. He is a regular at New York City's and Los Angeles' best comedy clubs including The Comic Strip and The Improv. Johnny has also made numerous television appearances including appearances on MTV, Comedy Central, NBC's Late Friday, and HBO Comedy Showcase. Johnny's wildly successful appearances at Montreal's "Just for Laughs" Festival led to his being named "Best Act" by The Montreal Gazette (2001) as well as the signing of a sitcom deal with Walt Disney Television.
Johnny Lampert has also enjoyed several successful runs of his semi-autobiographical one man show co-written with Lawrence Catlett entitled, Separation Anxiety, which has been staged at, among other places, PS NBC at the Here Arts Center in New York, and The World Famous Improv in Washington, D.C. where it is expected to be returning soon. A major Off-Broadway run is also in the works.
