KEITH MCGILL
Keith McGill brings a quick-witted, lively, intelligent slant to comedy. While he is a black comedian he is not of the 'def Jam" variety. Keith McGill's humor is more of a commentary on all facets of life, not just one sector of society. However, Keith does offer his own insights on his experience as a black man in America.
I have these politically correct friends who won't even let me call myself "black" 'cause that's not what we're calling ourselves this week, I did not get my copy of the Negro Newsletter, so I don't know what it's supposed to be… I like black- it's short and easy to spell. When I was filling out the Census in 2000, I tried to fit "African-American" in the little-bitty blank they give ya. Finally I just decided I would abbreviate it and put "AA." Now people think I'm an alcoholic.
