Juggler of Bizarre Objects
"It's amazing how many people want to watch you do something stupid," says comedian "Mad" Chad Taylor as he juggles three running chainsaws, lights his finger on fire, and catches a 15 pound anvil with his head, It looks like Chad Taylor is right because they keep bringing him back to perform his hilarious one man show at colleges, comedy clubs and performing arts centers around the world.
Chad Taylor grew up in Santa Monica, California, which is why he's a grown adult and still rides a skateboard. Only now the skateboard has an alarm, a cellular phone and pager on it and Taylor can juggle them all. Taylor's girlfriend convinced him to pay for her "enhancement" surgery and when they broke up, he got his property back. What's a laid back guy to do? Juggle the implants in his act for a tax write-off.
This skateboarding funnyman, "Mad" Chad Taylor, has performed his uniquely "L.A." act on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, NBC's World's Most Dangerous Acts, America's Funniest People and television shows in Japan, Germany and Spain.
As a juggler of careers as well as really bizarre objects, Mad Chad Taylor has acted on screen: Mr. Saturday Night, Pacific Blue, Nightstand, and two dozen national commercials. Taylor has produced a new home video, The Acts of Venice Beach, and performs his wild ride of a show.
