Years ago, Whoopi Goldberg and Bill Cosby had a thirty-minute love affair in the editing room on the set of "Fat Albert". The result was a six foot one funny and lovable daughter named Robin! Oh, how Whoopi and Bill loved their little girl!... okay, so that's completely made up, (truth is, Robin really looks like she's the result of Donna Summer, Rosie Perez AND Bryant Gumble all getting together and having a kid!) Now THAT'S a sick thought any way you slice it!
Robin has received the gift of laughter and fun from both of her parents, they're not famous, they're just... crazy! But we mean that in a good way...
I'm all over da place!
Robin has literally traveled the world and back, just for the sole purpose of making people laugh. Standup has taken Robin everywhere from the Officer's Club in Lakenheath, England to some hotel in Fun Flon -Manitoba, Canada; and from the Riviera in Las Vegas to a bowling alley in Kona, Hawaii. She's performed in front of a crowd of 2,000 non-English speaking Koreans on an Army base in Pusan, Korea, and a "free-for all" small riot that broke out during her performance in Billings, Montana. Even the members of the Klan asked to buy her a drink in Danville, Alabama... (all stories are true). Biker bars in Idaho, resorts in the Bahamas, comedy clubs in Anchorage, a juvenile detention center in L.A... been there done that, cracked them up, had a blast!
