Critically acclaimed for his work in broadcast journalism, Roy Firestone has won six Emmy Awards and two ACE Awards for Cable Excellence. Roy Firestone has interviewed more than three thousand people, including nearly every major sports figure. In his home town of Miami Beach, Florida, Roy Firestone began his career as a sports reporter and anchor before moving to Los Angeles as a sports anchor for KCBS-TV (1977-85). Roy Firestone was host of ESPN's SportsLook (1980-90) and is currently host of Up Close Prime Time.

Roy Firestone currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
