RAY WOLD Incredible Pyrotechnic Talent
A dark, silent stage faces the murmuring audience as they wait for the show to begin. but this show doesn't simply begin.. it explodes!
What was dark and silent is now ablaze with the incredible pyrotechnic talents of ray wold! What Rembrandt and Velasquez did with a paint brush, wold does with fire. he has turned a common match stick into a work of art. and the once murmuring crowd ignites with screaming approval.
Yet, just as the flames die, so do the screams. they are replaced by gasps, then giggles ... then uncontrolled laughter, as the fire-eating kid from California, Wold, mounts a unicycle to jump a flaming rope, or balance a blazing chair upon his chin...or escape from a burning straight jacket ... or, simply, swallow the flames.
On Letterman recently, when wold was shackled and locked inside a vat of water and covered in flame, his miraculous escape prompted the host to label him "a pyrotechnic madman."
Ray Wold's participation in the production show, "spellbound," packed the house at the Reno Hilton where he and his assistant and wife, Chrissie, performed death-defying feats to the astonishment of the most critical viewers.
At halftime shows from Houston to Orlando, from television shows in 13 countries around the world to corporate events and beyond ... the word is out Ray Wold is the consummate entertainer!
Ray Wold is a graduate of the Ringling Brothers Clown College where, to no one's surprise, he graduated with honors. His major was fire, with a minor in juggling, ventriloquism and balloon sculptures. The year he spent traveling with Ringling's "Red Unit' gave him more than two hours of material with his major and minor subjects. That material has attracted the attention of giants in the industry throughout the world.
